I want to show "my" stories through my articles. I will experience that most of international students in the Unites States do: worries of a pre-college student, conflicts between the international and the native speaker, and homesick of an international student. However, I believe everyone would feel and react differently towards seemingly common events. I want to capture and show my experiences in my voice.

My name is Hojai Yoon, and I am currently residing in Shanghai, China. Shanghai is an amazingly traditional, but yet very international and metropolitan. Journalism fascinates me, since it involves work that helps voices unheard to be heard. I am glad that I can share the voice of Shanghai, China and even the world with you.

I travelled around the world with my father because of his job. I have seen many cultures and nationalities, and I want to introduce Korea to them. I believe that, in order to be a cosmopolitan and a global citizen, we need to know what is going on around the world. I want to be the medium that delivers the happenings of the world to Korea for the betterment of me and my Korea.

Never, never, never give up. –Winston Churchill
It's so easy to say 'don't give up' to a friend, but it's not so easy to 'not give up' myself due to the fear of failure and embarrassment. But, remember, I am me. It's me, and only me who sets the standards, plans the plot, and writes the conclusions of my life. Whether it is failure or success is determined by me; and whether it is failure or success that I have decided upon, it is another advance in the story of my life.
