A : What facilities are available for me to use?

You can use MIZY's facilities such as its computers with internet connection, its equipped meeting and performance rooms, or chill out in the public space (cafe), where you can enjoy musical instruments, magazines, music CDs, videos, and books from all over the world. All of this is at no cost.

A : When can I use the rooms and how do I reserve a room?
The meeting and performance rooms are open at the same time as the office, everyday from 9am to 9pm. To be sure that the room you want is available, you can reserve by contacting AHN Seungbin (TEL : 02-755-7056 ; e-mail: bin5696@mizy.net) or directly on MIZY Korean page.
The rest of the space (internet and book cafe, etc.) is open:
Mon to Sat 1:00pm - 9:00pm
Sun 1:00pm - 6:00pm

A : How can I participate in programs at MIZY?
As you can see on this website, there are a variety of programs organized at MIZY. Some of these programs can accommodate only a limited number of participants and have an defined application period, whereas other are more free form. Send us an email to ask about any programs you would like to join and we will contact you with more information.

A : How can I be more involved with MIZY?

Besides hanging around, using the facilities or joining the programs as a way to make contact with MIZY people, you can get more deeply involved by volunteering, taking part in an internship program, being part of MIZY Youth Advisory Council or even by proposing and realizing a project of your own with MIZY (for this last option see next question). Occasionally, you will see offers for volunteering and internship on MIZY webpage newsboard and in the newsletter. Volunteers and interns can carry tasks like participating in the planning and implementation of the programs. Also, young people are employed to take care of the space (Internet and book cafe). Regarding the MIZY Youth Advisory Council, it welcomes every youth and is the way for youth to get organized and get involved in setting MIZY¡¯s direction. The Council meets twice a month on Saturday. If you are interested, contact AHN Seungbin (TEL : 02-755-7056 ; e-mail: bin5696@mizy.net).

Many foreign volunteers have contributed to the Center since its inception, and we are always happy to meet enthusiastic young people who want to make a difference in the world.
MIZY values the spirit of initiative and democracy. If we were to forget these, please remind us and take the place that belongs to you in MIZY.

A : What about if I have new ideas? How can I use MIZY to realize my projects? What are the resources available? Can we make a partnership?
As long as it fits in MIZY¡¯s mission of favoring intercultural exchange for youth, let¡¯s realize projects together. We invite you to suggest different programs to host at MIZY, and we will offer lots of assistance in planning and carrying out different events. MIZY has facilities, human and financial resources (although we need to plan quite in advance for major projects). Send us an e-mail with your ideas and suggestions for fun programs you would like to see happen at MIZY.
As an example of a project initiated by a young person at MIZY, there was a youth who proposed and organized a hip hop class.
We warmly welcome project proposals or offers for support from the community and foreign people and organization.
