Yonsei Model United Nations 2011 The third annual Yonsei Model United Nations (YMUN) conference hosted by the Yonsei Leadership Center and the Yonsei Delegation for Model United Nations (YDMUN) will be held in January 2011. The purpose of this conference lies in increasing awareness about debating and international politics within Korea’s middle and high school communities. In its previous conference held in 2010, students from 79 schools participated. In the course of the conference, students will gain the opportunity to research, debate, and form solutions on imperative issues that concern the world today. The conference waits for prospective global leaders with the passion for world issues, zeal for debating, and the belief in the possibility of a world where problems can be solved not with the destructive power of guns, but with the nonviolent power of diplomacy and cooperation. 제 3회 연세 모의유엔(YMUN) 회의가 내년 1월에 개최됩니다. 2008년부터 연세대학교 리더십센터와 연세대학교 국제모의유엔총회 대표단(YDMUN) 이 주최해온 본 회의는, 지난 2010년 1월에 있던 제 2회 회의를 맞아 전국의 79개 학교에서 온 많은 학생들이 참가했습니다. 본 회의를 통해 여러분은 국제 사회의 중요한 현안에 대하여 조사하고, 토론하며, 직접 해결방안을 모색하는 기회를 얻게 될 것입니다. 뿐만 아니라 국제문제에 대한 관심과 열정을 지닌 다른 학생들과 만나고 교류할 수 있습니다. 연세 모의유엔은 국제문제에 대한 깊은 관심, 토론에 대한 열정, 그리고 세상이 무력이 아닌 토론과 협력으로 변화할 수 있다는 신념을 지닌 미래 국제사회의 주역들을 기다립니다.
